- The www.bikube.co website (hereinafter referred to as the "Bikube Website") for booking stays in the various residences under the BIKUBE brand.
These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations made in one of the BIKUBE residences.
Part 1 - Coliving Stays
Article 1. Types of stay
The stays offered by BIKUBE are divided into three categories according to their duration:
- Short stays, lasting no more than 7 nights (hereinafter referred to as "Short Stays");
- Medium stays, lasting between 8 and 28 nights (hereinafter referred to as "Medium Stays");
- Long stays of between 30 days and 8 months (hereinafter referred to as "Long Stays").
When booking, customers must specify the exact length of their stay in order to check the availability of the accommodation corresponding to their choice.
Article 2. Services associated with the hosting service
In addition to the accommodation, the customer benefits from a range of included services that vary according to the chosen length of stay.
Customers may also subscribe to optional services offered at the time of booking, which will be invoiced at an additional cost.
The list of services included in the price and those that are optional with their price is mentioned in the commercial offers accessible on the Bikube Website.
BIKUBE reserves the right to occasionally privatize common areas (excluding floor coliving areas), which will no longer be freely accessible during these periods.
Article 3. Reservation
In accordance with article 11, any reservation implies that the customer is aware of all the conditions applicable to his/her stay, the accommodation and the services he/she has booked, and is solely responsible for the choice he/she has made and accepts these general terms and conditions of sale as well as the Internal Regulations and the Charter of Good Practice appended thereto.
Reservation procedure
The flats in the residence can be booked by the customer directly on the Bikube website, by telephone, on the partner networks or at the residence reception, and, for Long Stays or groups, by e-mail to the following address: [email protected].
For Long Stays: Customers must provide valid proof of identity at the time of booking, as well as any document proving their income (payslip, employment contract, tax notice, etc.). BIKUBE reserves the right to refuse a booking request if the documents sent do not guarantee the solvency of the applicant.
Booking confirmation
For bookings of less than 10 people, the booking only becomes firm and definitive after :
- For Short Stays and Medium Stays: receipt of the confirmation sent to the Customer by email and provided that the payment (deposit or full payment) has been made by the Customer and accepted by BIKUBE's Payment Partner.
- For long stays: receipt of confirmation after the signed stay contract has been sent to BIKUBE, and payment of the reservation fees, the security deposit and the first month's occupancy.
For group bookings (more than 10 people), the booking may be subject to (i) the conclusion of a specific group contract, which will take precedence, in the event of contradiction, over the provisions of the GTCS as a whole and (ii) payment by the Customer by bank transfer or credit card of an initial deposit. The booking confirmation summarises the contract offer, the prices and the conditions of sale relating to the fare selected and accepted by the Customer.
Reservations are made by name.
Article 4. Fares
4.1. All bookings, whatever their origin, are payable in Euros. The prices indicated include :
- Occupancy of the accommodation,

They apply per accommodation and per night for the dates and length of stay chosen, whatever the number of people occupying the Apartment, up to the maximum authorised for the type of accommodation.

4.3 Additional taxes: Depending on the local regulations in force, certain additional taxes, such as tourist tax for short and medium stays, will be claimed on arrival or during the stay.
4.4 Optional services: Unless selected and paid for at the time of booking, the optional services referred to in Article 3 will be invoiced as extras.
4.5 BIKUBE reserves the right to modify its prices in the event of legislative and/or regulatory changes likely to result in a variation of its prices (for example and without limitation, modification of the VAT rate in force, introduction of a new tax).
4.6 The price examples indicated "from" in the communication media and on the website relate to a few selected nights and are only valid for the dates and towns indicated. The rates cannot be combined with any other promotional offer in force.
Article 5. Payment
5.1. Terms of payment
The terms of payment differ according to the length of stay:
- For short stays and medium stays: full payment for the stay must be made either at the time of booking or, at the latest, on arrival at the establishment.
- For long stays: the Booking Fee, the deposit and the first month's payment are due at the time of booking. The following monthly instalment(s) must be paid in advance between the 1st and 5th of the current month by bank transfer or direct debit
5.2. Payment methods
For any reservation via the Bikube Website, payment will be made by credit card via the BIKUBE Payment Partner platform.

5.3. Optional services:
These services will be invoiced additionally, and will be payable, in accordance with the above-mentioned methods, either directly after use, or at the end of the stay (for short stays and medium stays), or when paying the next monthly instalment (for long stays).
5.4. Invoicing for Long Stays:
An invoice will be sent to the Customer every month by email.
5.5. Late payment:
In the event of failure to comply with the aforementioned payment deadlines, late payment penalties may be applied by BIKUBE. Penalties shall be due from the day following the due date of the invoice at a rate of 15% per year, applied to the total amount of the invoice including VAT. A fixed penalty equal to 15% of the sums due shall also be payable in the event of contentious recovery.
5.6. Payment partner :
BIKUBE has entrusted MEWS PAYMENTS with the security of its online payments by Credit Card. A refusal of the Credit Card, for any reason whatsoever (blocked card, stolen card, payment limit reached) will result in the cancellation of the reservation request, which will therefore not be confirmed.
Contractual documents (invoice, booking email, credit card transaction receipt) will be kept by BIKUBE for a period of 10 years in electronic format.
Article 6. Guarantees
6.1. Payment of the stay
Unless otherwise indicated, short and medium-stay bookings are paid for at the time of booking. All short and medium-stay bookings not paid for in full at the time of booking must be guaranteed with a bank card number valid on the date of the start of your stay and accompanied by :
- A bank pre-authorization of €100 for short-stay bookings and €300 for medium-stay bookings;
- A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking (including accommodation and any additional services for which a charge is made), for stays of between 7 and 28 nights. A bank pre-authorization of 300€ per booking must also be made on arrival;
For Long Stay bookings, the 1st month is paid in advance at the time of booking, after signature of the Resident's Contract. Subsequent months are paid in advance between the 1st and 5th of the month.
6.2. Security deposit
A security deposit must be paid by the customer no later than the day of arrival at the establishment.
- For Short and Medium Stays: this will take the form of a bank card number valid on the date of the start of your stay and at least 15 days after the date of departure, accompanied by a bank pre-authorisation in the amount of €500.
- For Long Stays: this will be evidenced by the payment of an amount equivalent to the price of one month's stay, paid no later than the day of arrival at the Establishment.
The guarantee may be used by BIKUBE in the event of non-payment by the Customer of sums due to BIKUBE for the provision of accommodation and/or optional services, any damage caused by the occupants in the Apartments or common areas, costs for loss of badges that will have been given upon entry to the premises, costs related to additional cleaning services required, or in the event of theft in the Coliving Residence.
In this respect, BIKUBE informs the Customer that it will keep the bank details from the time of the reservation until 7 days after the end of the stay.
Article 7. Cancellation/modification of reservation
7.1. If the price allows a booking to be cancelled or modified, this can be done
- From the link in the booking confirmation email for Short and Medium Stays,
- By email to [email protected] for Long Stays
- At the Residence reception desk
- Or to the service provider used when booking the Apartment.
7.2. Total cancellation
For short and medium stays :
Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the day of arrival for any stay of less than 28 nights;
After this time or if the occupant fails to arrive on the day of arrival, the following penalties will apply:
- The payment made at the time of booking for stays of two nights or less will be retained by BIKUBE.
- For stays from 2 to 28 nights, a penalty equivalent to 3 nights will be applied.
For Long Stays :
In the event of total cancellation before arrival, a penalty equivalent to one month's stay will be applied.
7.3 Partial cancellation or modification of the reservation or renewal
Any change to the date, length of stay, type of flat or location of the reservation initially confirmed by BIKUBE will be considered as a partial cancellation of the reservation.
- If the partial cancellation of the reservation is made 48 hours before the arrival date, the partial cancellation is free of charge.
Given the degressive nature of BIKUBE's rates based on the length of stay, if the partial cancellation of the reservation corresponds to a change in the length of stay, this will result in a change in rate according to the rate in effect for the modified length of stay.
- If the reservation is cancelled less than 48 hours before the arrival date or after the arrival date : Given the degressive nature of BIKUBE's rates based on the length of stay, if the partial cancellation of the reservation corresponds to a change in the length of stay, this result in a retroactive rate change from the day of arrival.
In addition, for early departure:
- Short and Medium Stays: The Customer may claim a refund for cancelled nights by giving 3 days' notice to the Residence Reception. If no notice is given, no reimbursement will be made.
- Long Stays: As Resident Contracts are from date to date, for early departure, a penalty equivalent to one month's stay will be applied, after giving one (1) month's notice by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
Customers are reminded that, in accordance with article L. 242-3 of the French Consumer Code, they do not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 221-28 of the same code.
For all long-stay renewals, the renewal will depend on availability, and the request must be made to the residence reception at least 2 months before the end date of the stay.
Article 8. Stays and offers that cannot be exchanged / modified / reimbursed / cancelled
For holidays marked NON EXCHANGEABLE, NON REFUNDABLE, the following conditions cancel and replace the above-mentioned cancellation and modification conditions:

8.2. Non-exchangeable, non-refundable, non-cancellable and non-modifiable nature: in view of the preferential rate granted, the subscription to the offer and/or the stays booked cannot be exchanged, refunded or modified. No request for modification or cancellation will be taken into account. Regardless of the date on which the booking is cancelled, compensation equal to 100% of the total cost of the holiday will be retained. Non-use of any optional services that may have been booked and invoiced will not give rise to any reimbursement.
8.3. Non-presentation at the place of stay: in the event of non-appearance at the place of stay, compensation equal to 100% of the total amount of the stay will be withheld.
Article 9. Arrival and departure
9.1. Documents to be presented
In accordance with the provisions of articles R. 814-1 to R. 814-3 of the Code de l'Entrée et du Séjour des Etrangers et du Droit d'Asile (French Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners and the Right of Asylum), upon arrival each Customer of foreign nationality, including European Union nationals, will be asked to complete an individual police form which may be pre-filled by BIKUBE. This form must be kept for 6 months and may be sent to the police or gendarmerie on request. Refusal to complete or sign such a form is considered to be a legitimate reason for refusing to rent.
For Customers of French nationality, a valid identity document must be presented on arrival by each occupant.
A civil liability insurance certificate must be presented on the day of arrival.
9.2 Opening times
Except in exceptional circumstances, accommodation is available from 4 pm and must be vacated by 10 am.
Article 10. Conditions of occupation
10.1 In the event of non-compliance with the Internal Regulations, the Charter of Good Practice, non-compliance with the GTCs or non-payment of all or part of the rental (or monthly instalment), the Management of the establishment may terminate the Customer's stay, without the Customer being able to claim any compensation or partial reimbursement of the remainder of his/her stay. Furthermore, in this case, BIKUBE reserves the right to put the Customer on a list of Customers who are forbidden to stay in its establishments. In this case, the Customer may be refused access to any establishment of the BIKUBE group, which the Customer expressly accepts.
10.2. Number of occupants
An Apartment is intended for a specific number of occupants at the time of rental and may under no circumstances be occupied by a greater number of people. All children aged 24 months and over are considered to be persons in their own right and are included in the occupancy of the Apartment. It is not possible to add extra beds (other than cots) in the Apartments.
10.3 Occupancy
In the event of damage to the Apartment, the cost of which exceeds the amount of the security deposit, BIKUBE will send the customer an invoice with an estimate of the cost of repair, payable within 7 days. In the event of non-payment, BIKUBE reserves the right to initiate any proceedings in order to obtain reimbursement of the costs of repair, without prejudice to any damages and legal costs.

Part 2 - The Coworking offer
Article 1. Description
BIKUBE's Coworking offer consists of :
- A shared workspace accessible free of charge to Resident Customers and External Customers after purchase of a Pass (for a half-day, a day or a month).
The purchase of a Pass gives access to various areas of the Residence in accordance with the details of the offer described on the Bikube Website.
A magnetic access card will be given to the Customer on arrival. For monthly Passes, it must be kept for the entire period of validity of the Pass. The magnetic card gives access to the Coworking and Shared Areas of the residence accessible to the Customer during the period of validity of the Pass.
- A meeting room which can be hired by Residents depending on availability and by Customers from outside the Residence by the hour, half day or day.
The Customer must respect the maximum number of people authorised in the Meeting Room as stipulated in his/her Reservation confirmation and/or contract. Details of the offers are available on request from Reception.
Article 2. Subscription and Reservation
2.1 Purchasing a Pass for the Shared Workspace
Passes may be purchased online on the Bikube Website (Monthly Pass) or directly at the Residence reception desk for the other formulas. The contract and the services provided are not governed by the provisions of articles 1709 et seq. of the Civil Code relating to leases, the law of 6 July 1989 relating to residential leases, those of article 57A of the law of 23 December 1986 relating to professional leases and those of articles L145-1 et seq. of the Commercial Code relating to commercial leases, as this contract does not constitute a lease. Consequently, the user expressly acknowledges that he/she does not benefit from commercial ownership of the premises, either in whole or in part.
2.2 Booking the Meeting Room
The reservation may be conditional upon the conclusion of a specific contract, which will prevail, in the event of contradiction, over the provisions of the GTC as a whole, and upon payment by the Customer, by bank transfer or credit card, of an initial deposit. Confirmation of the booking summarises the contract offer, the prices and the conditions of sale relating to the tariff selected and accepted by the Customer.
Reservations are made by name.
Once the booking has been made, confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided by the Customer. The booking confirmation summarises the contract offer, prices and conditions of sale relating to the fare selected and accepted by the Customer.

In this case, Coworkers with a Monthly Pass will be offered the possibility of accessing another area of the Residence in which they will benefit from the same services.
3.2. Additional services: Unless they are included in the price or specifically selected at the time of purchase and/or reservation, ancillary services (catering, parking, etc.) are optional and will be invoiced in addition where applicable.

4.5. Invoicing An invoice will be sent by email to the Customer for the hire of the Meeting Room.
BIKUBE has entrusted MEWS Payments with the security of its online credit card payments. Refusal of the credit card, for any reason whatsoever (blocked card, stolen card, payment limit reached) will result in the cancellation of the reservation request, which will therefore not be confirmed.
Contractual documents (invoice, booking email, credit card transaction receipt) will be kept for a period of 10 years in electronic format.
Article 5. Cancellation/modification of reservation
5.1. Passes cannot be exchanged, refunded or modified. No refunds will be made regardless of the actual time spent in the Coworking Centre.

5.4 Penalties Beyond this time limit and in the event of no-show on the day of hire, BIKUBE reserves the right not to make any refund.
The Customer is reminded that, in accordance with article L. 242-3 of the French Consumer Code, he/she does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L. 221-28 of the same code.

The Customer declares that he/she is fully aware of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and acknowledges that a copy of them was sent to him/her in writing or by electronic means prior to the booking. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all bookings made via Internet sites and made directly in the establishments of the BIKUBE group. Article 4. Indivisibility
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Tariff Terms and Conditions, the booking confirmation, the Internal Regulations and the Residence's Charter of Good Practice form an integral part of the sales contract and must be accepted in their entirety before any sale is concluded. In the event of any contradiction between these documents, the stipulations of the reservation confirmation take precedence over those of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. If one or more of the provisions of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale prove to be invalid or null and void, the other provisions of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall nevertheless remain valid.

The photographs and descriptions of the establishment presented on the BIKUBE Group websites may not accurately represent the service provided by the establishment, which the Customer expressly acknowledges. Although every effort is made to ensure that the photographs, graphic representations and texts reproduced to illustrate the BIKUBE Residences presented give as accurate an idea as possible of the accommodation services offered, variations may occur, particularly due to changes in furniture or possible renovations. The Customer may not make any claim as a result. Photos and descriptions on communication media have no contractual value and are not binding on BIKUBE.
Furthermore, BIKUBE may not be held responsible for the booking or stay not being carried out as a result of force majeure, the actions of a third party or the unavailability of the website.
Any complaint relating to a problem with a reservation must be made directly to the establishment, at its postal address, within 10 days of the arrival date of the reservation.
The Customer undertakes to use the flat allocated to him/her and the areas to which he/she has access, and more generally all the facilities of the Residence, in a reasonable manner, in compliance with the regulations in force, morality and public order.
